Why Rice Krispies are no longer made with rice grains - BBC — A Shift In The UK's Rice Krispies Formula

Kellogg's has introduced a revised recipe for Rice Krispies in the UK. The new version no longer includes actual rice grains and changes the traditional snap, crackle, and pop sounds and flavor.
